Atmospherics (2021) is a series of four compositions for spatialized or isolated ensemble. Each piece features a section of the orchestra/band and is inspired by a different type of cloud.
Asperitas – for WIND ensemble; Cumulonimbus – for BRASS ensemble;
Noctilucent – for PERCUSSION ensemble; and Cirrostratus – for STRING orchestra
* Atmospherics was co-commissioned by the Arizona State University’s Symphony Orchestra and Wind Ensemble, and performed by ensembles directed by Jeffery Meyer and Jason Caslor.
